Who Am I??

If you haven't figured it out by now, I speak at least 3 other languages...fluently.

1. Sarcasm - yes, it's my first language
2. Song Lyrics - it's a language....google it
3. Quotes - but not the same old quotes meant to inspire by people who are long gone.  I don't believe I know any Thomas Jefferson quotes right off the top of my head...who does?

With that being said...

"When Life Gives You Lemons, Throw Them Back and Scream, "Limes, Motherf&%$er, I Want Limes!"

I don't think there is a quote in the world that makes more sense to me than this one.  I'm not going to sit back and juggle lemons.  I don't like lemons.  If you're going to throw me some stuff that it just going to make my life a little harder, can it not be funny shaped, bitter, and YELLOW?

I've learned that when people want to know more about you and/or why they should get to know you, answering with a simple "because I'm awesome, duh" just doesn't cut it.  So who am I and why should you get to know me?

Because I'm awesome, duh...

I'm really just a small town girl who moved to the big city, Atlanta, GA because I thought it would be cool.  I went to Georgia State University, I've worked everywhere from KFC to Bank of America, and I write books.  I think that's the coolest accomplishment to date.

Note: The following sentences have not been posted on Craigslist, Match.com, or any other dating site.

I'm 31, single, no kids.  I'm a Scorpio.  My favorite things are (in no particular order except #1):
Music - Books - Movies - Coffee - Chocolate - Wine - People Friends - Beer - Sports - True Crime (I plead the 5th)

I started writing in high school after having one of the best, most vivid & elaborate dreams about my then crush, NBA superstar Allen Iverson.  I told my friends about the dream and wrote it down.  It became the first novel I've ever written.  (No, you cannot see it).

Then I moved to Atlanta, stopped writing and went to college. Then I started writing and moved to Virginia and got pretty distracted (whew-hoo Navy Boys!) then I came to Atlanta and decided what I wanted to be when I grew up.

"I am driving up 85 in the kind of morning that lasts all afternoon/Just stuck inside the gloom
Four more exits to my apartment but I am tempted to keep the car in drive
And leave it all behind" - Why Georgia, John Mayer
(song lyrics...see)

So that's me, in a nutshell.  Basically, I'm an Indie Author and solve crimes and make the world a better place.

What?  You didn't get that from everything I said?  Read it again :)
